My friend Steve is married to a feisty Greek woman called Anastasia. Steve is one of those smart guys with a lot of wit but not so much common sense. Steve has called me more than once in a bit of a panic over his volatile and passionate wife. Last week he called me and asked what he should get Anastasia for Valentine’s Day. He really didn’t have a clue and apparently she’s already warned him not to get her chocolate because she is on a diet. He asked me if I would look online and see if I could find anything Anastasia might like. He did not give me the chance to say no before he hung up the phone.
Steve is a really sweet person so I did not have the heart to phone him back and say no even though I was quite busy.
