pearl necklaces, bridal jewelry Last night my roommate’s girlfriend was watching one of those bridal shows on TV I mentioned in the post below. I was behind the living room couch on the computer when out of nowhere she said, “Ooo don’t do that.” I looked over and asked what was wrong and she pointed at the TV. Not knowing what she was talking about I said, “What.” Then she gave me a piece of advice for pearl necklaces and earrings I probably would have never known of it wasn’t for this moment. The bride on the TV had bridal jewelry on while getting her hair and makeup done. My friend said pearl necklaces or earrings are porous so you are not supposed to wear them around hairspray or makeup because it can get within the stones little holes. Pretty interesting right?

She said she thought every girl knew this but apparently the one on TV didn’t. I had no idea pearl necklaces were porous. She said you are supposed to put pearls on after hair and makeup and take them off before taking a shower. It would not be a good scene if a bride died her pearls in the color of her makeup before the wedding. Hopefully this tip helps.
