I Guess Bridal Jewelry is a Big Deal |

Not knowing really the first thing about weddings past the part where each person says, “I do,” the bride throwing a bouquet of flowers to a savage group of women ready for their own bridal jewelry and the rice thrown at the bride and groom before they escape to their honeymoon, I was sort of surprised to see how much forward planning takes place for that one big day. Like many Americans, I turned to TV to figure out what the wedding process is all about. My girlfriend was watching a series about pretty much the entire bride’s process from engagement ring to saying “I Do”. Women really love wedding dresses. There was this on girl on the show trying on dresses for her girlfriends and family. Her budget was something like 5,000 dollars for a dress but after putting on a 12,000 dollar dress on she couldn’t even look at the others.
Her friends and family were ooing and aaing until they heard the price tag. The bride to be asked if they would help pitch in for the super expensive dress and one of the alternate plans she got was less bridal jewelry to offset the dress cost. The bride to be was not happy about this. No one told her about all the great bridal jewelry deals online but she wanted the best of both worlds. She ended up going with a cheaper dress to stay out of debt but spiced it up with bridal jewelry with money left over.
