You know how sometimes when you are looking for one thing and you happen to find something else. I was looking online for a yellow gold pendant to give my sister for her birthday. I have been giving her a yellow gold pendant for her birthday for the last ten years. It is kind of a tradition for me. I give my sister a yellow gold pendant, my mother tea cups and my dad electronic gadgets. It makes things easier for me and my family always likes what I give them. I started my usual search around town for a yellow gold pendant but gave up soon. There was some nice jewelry in the stores but not anything I have not seen in the last year. Nothing caught my attention. I decided to search online instead. I found some wonderful gold pendants but none seemed right for my sister. She is turning thirty this year so I wanted something special.

Oddly enough it was not a yellow gold pendant. Instead it was a white gold Diamond Silhouette Pendant. It was stunning and absolutely her. I knew I had to get it for her even if it was not yellow gold. I made the right decision. She loved it. The shape and flow of it was perfect for her.

Finding the Diamond Silhouette Pendant for my sister has made me rethink my tradition of always going with the same gift ideas. I found a lot of gift ideas at Ultra Mall I think my family would like. I think I have been too restrictive with my gift ideas. I got into a rut and never got out of it. It was easy to give the same things all the time. To be honest I am somewhat tired of always giving the same things even though I know they like my gifts. I would like to be a little more spontaneous. It was a lot of fun to look at something different for a change. I am rethinking my whole gift giving strategy. I am giving myself the freedom to give different gifts from now on. I am actually going to look at this as a fun challenge. I think my family is going to have a couple of surprises.
