My idea about buying bridal jewelry is to be certain you know what type of jewelry the future bride likes and then make the bridal jewelry accordingly. this is her special day and will everything associated with the wedding will be remembered by the bride so buying her tourmaline jewelry if she does not care for jewelry like this is a bad idea. I have always liked pearl necklaces and if she does also maybe a beautiful stand of pearl's and diamonds with matching jewelry earrings and a bracelet will light up her eyes. with weddings it is always a good idea to find out these likes and dislikes from her parents, the groom,  or one of her close girlfriends. Also, if the wedding is a low key affair or a wedding between two people who have already been married before they might not want bridal jewelry of the type friends would buy for a wedding between a younger couple who have never been married before and are having a extravagant wedding. Let the setting of the wedding dictate what jewelry you decide to choose.
