pearl necklaces

There are some people that I have the most difficult time shopping for when the holidays roll around each year. My mom is one of those people. She has everything she needs, is very particular about what type of jewelry she wears and it always makes me scratch my head and wonder what to get her each and every year. This year is no different, or at least it wasn't until I asked my dad what he thought would be a great gift for me to give mom.

When dad said that he thought mom would like pearl necklaces I couldn't believe my ears. My mother, who rarely wears jewelry, would like to have pearl necklaces? Dad said that he'd actually been a little surprised himself, but that when they were out doing some early Christmas shopping earlier in the month, she said some pearl necklaces and mentioned that she'd always wanted to have one. I was actually surprised that dad didn't rush right out and get her the necklaces she mentioned liking, but he said he already had big plans for her this year for Christmas, so pearl necklaces weren't in the budget. There are so many colors of freshwater pearl necklaces these days that I wasn't really sure which to get, so to know that she wanted a simple traditional white color was perfect. From there, I was pretty sure that I could find pearl necklaces that she'd love.

Dad suggested I look at a particular department store, but I told him that I knew I could find them cheaper online, so I began my quest.
