gold pendant

I've been thinking for sometime about what to buy my mother for Christmas. She has done so much for me over the years, and been an excellent mother, teacher and source of support. I have been thinking for some time about getting her a gold pendant, but until recently I hadn't been able to find exactly what I wanted. My mother doesn't usually wear yellow gold, so I knew that if I bought her a gold pendant that it would need to be white gold. I was able to find 14K White Gold and Freshwater Pearl & Diamond Pendant with 0.04 Carats Diamond and 7.5mm Pearl which I know she will love. The gold pendant also has a pearl, which is something else that she really loves. I can't wait to give it to her come Christmas morning.

I actually called my dad and invited him over so he could see the gold pendant before I ordered it. Even though I know my mom’s taste pretty well, I know that no one knows it better than my dad. He saw the gold pendant and had tears in his eyes. He said that I really shouldn't have bought mom such an extravagant gold pendant gift, but I told him not to worry about that. I really wanted mom to have the gold pendant or something special from me as a little thank you for all that she'd done for me in life, and he said that he knew without a doubt that she would start crying the moment that she sees it.

What I didn't tell dad is that I'm also on the lookout for a very special gift for him, also to thank him for being a great dad. I'm still not sure what that's going to be, but I'm happy that I at least have moms gold pendant chosen. I almost can't wait until Christmas to give it to her, but the second it arrives, I'm going to wrap it in beautiful red foil paper and tuck it away. Otherwise, I'll be tempted to give her the gold pendant the second it comes in, and that would definitely spoil the Christmas surprise. I know I can keep it a secret until then, at least, I most certainly hope I can. The look on her face is going to be priceless.
