Bridal Jewelry
This weekend I have my first of many holiday get togethers and I’m wearing my bridal jewelry with the outfit I’ve chosen. I know some people would absolutely turn their nose up in the air if they knew I was wearing my bridal jewelry to the party, but I can’t understand why. I bought the jewelry to wear with my wedding dress, but why should I leave perfectly good jewelry to gather dust in a drawer somewhere when I can enjoy it now?
My bridal jewelry is beautiful, and up until now I haven’t worn it except for my wedding day, but several days ago one of my friends had stopped in to borrow some jewelry and she made the comment when she saw my bridal jewelry how great it would look with the outfit I’m wearing to the party this weekend. She didn’t know it was what I’d worn when I got married until I told her and she said something to the effect of, “who cares”. I couldn’t agree with her more and decided that from then on I’d wear the jewelry whenever I wanted, and she’s right, it looks great with my outfit.
