Gold Pendants For Very Special Moments |

One of the most memorable days in my life was my first communion. That day I received a gold pendant from my grandmother that just made me feel like I was on top of the world. For years, my grandmother had described to me the specialness of that day and how she was going to get me a very nice gold pendant to celebrate that day with me. She would tell me that before mass would begin I would be excitedly waiting outside with my friends for the priest to call us inside after everyone in the church had sat down. Then my friends and I would walk down the main aisle of the church with everyone’s eyes and smiles on us just hoping not to trip on our brand new shoes—glad to say it didn’t happen. We would then assemble in a line in front of the altar and have our first communion. My grandmother would tell me that by that time she would have bought my gold pendant and that she would bring it with her so she can very proudly put it on me when the ceremony was over. I was reminiscing about that day because one of my friend’s kids is going to have his first communion soon and I was talking to her about the cross gold pendant I always carry with me.
She actually loved the idea and together went online looking for a cross gold pendant she could give to her little girl for her first communion. She really liked the one I had on and so we went looking for something similar. After some time searching we actually found a very nice cross gold pendant that even made me a bit jealous. While perusing all the very nice pendants at Ultra Mall located at theultramall.ispeedway.com, we found a 14K Yellow Gold and Emerald & Diamond Cross Pendant with 0.09 Carats Diamond and 0.56 Carats Emerald that we both fell in love with. The one thing that stood out about this gold pendant, as you can see on the product page, was the absolutely beautiful green emerald covering the cross. My friend loved it even more, because emerald green happens to be her daughter’s favorite color and I can testify to that, because when she was younger I bought her a cherry lollipop and she made me go back to the store to get her a green one that, in her own words, was not as tasty—kids are so funny. Nonetheless, we both concluded that this gold pendant would be something her daughter would enjoy and treasure for a long time the same way I treasure my own cross gold pendant. I told her to enjoy the moment as much as possible, because it wont be long till she is looking for bridal jewelry.
