My Bridal Jewelry Was Not Traditional |

When I think of bridal jewelry pearl necklaces immediately spring to mind, probably because they are considered traditional. However my own bridal jewelry did not include a pearl necklace. I am not really a religious woman in the traditional sense of the word so I had a civil ceremony. I wore a lilac colored dress and my bridal jewelry comprised of a pair of amethyst and silver jewelry earrings with a matching necklace. My bridal jewelry was not traditional but neither was my dress. Fortunately there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to bridal jewelry or dresses. We each have our own unique taste and every woman is entitled to wear bridal jewelry and clothing that make her feel good. Some women choose something more traditional but I was one of those that did not. My bridal jewelry and dress made me feel as pretty as a princess even though I did not spend that much money on them because I looked for discounts online. Feeling great on your wedding day is, in my opinion, what is most important.
