My friend is in her mid twenties so it is not as awkward as it could have been if she was still living at home. It’s only natural she had reservations about having a step mom. Apparently, when she goes home for the holidays the fiancé is going to take her around to look for bridal jewelry. They already started looking online and shooting emails back and forth. It looks to be a way for them to bond with one another.

I see the relationship between the two being more of a friend one then a parental figure. Being my friend is already a young adult she doesn’t really need any guidance anymore from a step mom. They have been looking at jewelry earrings and bracelets. Not exactly what I would find the most fun but I am not a girl. She really is excited about bridal jewelry shopping. I bet there are some good deals on these kinds of pieces online now. As long as the two of them get along, that is all that matters.
