Traditional bridal jewelry a thing of the past? |

I hang out on a website with a lot of artsy people of varying ages. We often chat about various different things. When the subject of weddings comes up, I wonder if women still wear more traditional bridal jewelry. It seems like more and more people are opting for non-traditional weddings, some of who aren't even wearing any type of traditional wedding dress, much less bridal jewelry. When I read those posts, I can' help but wonder if the more traditional weddings are becoming a thing of the past?
I've been to a few weddings myself, all but one were traditional weddings. One was held in a little chapel where the bride and groom were not dressed formally at all. They just wore nice outfits and the bride, with my help, curled her hair nicely. But her bridal jewelry was more everyday jewelry, to go along with her non-traditional wedding.
But the other weddings were more traditional, along with some very pretty bridal jewelry. That's one thing I enjoy about weddings, looking at the bridal jewelry to see what the bride chose to go along with her dress. And to see if she chose the bridal jewelry for the girls that stood up in her wedding, or if she let them pick something out themselves.
