Sisters and Tourmaline Jewelry
I have a necklace and bracelet set I wear almost all the time. It was given to me by my Grandmother years ago. I loved the set right away, it suits me. It is dark round beads, with a touch of silver between them. It goes with almost everything I have. I just discovered that it is made up of black tourmaline or Schorl beads. I never realized that tourmaline jewelry could be dark, even black. I always thought of tourmaline jewelry as being light almost clear pieces or watermelon tourmaline.
My sister loves watermelon tourmaline jewelry. She wears it all the time. It suits her. She is light, airy and bright just like the tourmaline she likes to wear. I just find it funny that we both have such different taste in jewelry and yet we have both been wearing tourmaline all this time. Now that I know my jewelry is black tourmaline I am going to look for more pieces to wear. As much as I love my necklace and bracelet set it would be nice to have a variety of jewelry with black tourmaline to wear.
