jewelry earringsEvery couple of weeks my girlfriend drops hints about what would be “just the most amazing present in the world” when browsing the web for clothes, accessories and of course jewelry she has added to her long running wish list. Last night, while I was out in the living room watching The Daily Show she screamed, “Sean Come Here,” from the other room. Thinking something was wrong, I shot up and came over. “What’s the matter,” I said. “Look” she turned the laptop around and on the screen was a pair of heart shaped jewelry earrings encrusted with what look like little diamonds.

“This is what you called me in here for?” smiling she responded with, “Aren’t they beautiful”. Oh my god are you serious is what I was thinking what I said was “Sure,” I could see it in her eyes. She was trying to meld the picture of the jewelry earrings into my mind for a future gift. Squinting I said, “Well, that’s why you have a job I guess.” Smiling I walked out of the room but the deed was done, she had implanted these jewelry earrings into my psyche. I don’t know how girls do it.
