bridal jewelry, tourmaline jewelry The Search for Bridal Jewelry

Last year, when I was about to get married, my life became a very confusing entity. Gone were the stress free days of just going to work and coming home. Now, life became a never-ending series of decisions, from what dress to wear for my big day to the type of bridal jewelry I was going to purchase.

Once I had my wedding dress and shoes chosen, it came time for the bridal jewelry hunt. I tried on countless pairs of earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I even looked to see whether or not I wanted a pendant to go with my necklace. Even more importantly, I looked through every color of jewelry available.

I finally settled on tourmaline, which is October’s alternate birthstone. This gemstone ranges for clear to black, therefore offering a spectrum of colors to compliment any wedding dress. Tourmaline jewelry is a little bit on the pricey side, but its quality will leave you wearing it forever. I chose to keep my tourmaline jewelry and begin a new family tradition: to allow my daughter or daughters to wear it on their wedding day.
